Boston Celtics Dominate Mavericks, Take 3-0 Lead in NBA Finals

Game 3 Summary

Celtics Win Nail-Biter in Dallas

The Boston Celtics held off a late charge from the Dallas Mavericks to secure a 106-98 victory in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night. The Celtics, now up 3-0 in the series, are on the brink of their 18th championship.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown led the way for Boston, combining for 61 points. Tatum scored a game-high 30 points, while Brown added 31, including a crucial three-pointer in the fourth quarter to give the Celtics some breathing room.

The Mavericks, who trailed by as many as 18 points in the third quarter, rallied in the fourth. Led by Luka Doncic's 23 points and Dorian Finney-Smith's 18, they cut the deficit to three points with just under four minutes remaining.

However, the Celtics held on, hitting key free throws and making defensive stops down the stretch to secure the victory.
