Ireland Head Coach Andy Farrell Announces Team for Six Nations Match

One Change Made for Saturday's Clash

IRELAND, February 24th, 2023

Ireland head coach Andy Farrell has made one change to the team for Saturday's Guinness Six Nations clash against Scotland at Murrayfield. Scrum-half Conor Murray returns to the starting XV in place of Jamison Gibson-Park, who drops to the bench.

Farrell has otherwise kept faith with the team that defeated Wales 34-10 in their opening match of the tournament. Johnny Sexton continues at fly-half, while Garry Ringrose and Robbie Henshaw form the centre partnership.

The pack is unchanged, with Tadhg Furlong, Dan Sheehan, and Cian Healy forming the front row. James Ryan and Iain Henderson continue their partnership in the second row, while Josh van der Flier, Peter O'Mahony, and Caelan Doris form the back row.

Ireland will be looking to make it two wins from two in the Six Nations when they face Scotland on Saturday. Victory would put them in a strong position to challenge for the title.
